Our mission
CodyCrossAnswers.com exists for a simple reason: most online answer databases mix multiple language versions of the game and return answers that don't match the one you're playing. When you search for “African river” in CodyCross English, you want the correct English answer — not a rough translation from somewhere else.
We built this site to be the focused English-language reference for the CodyCross game by Fanatee: a place where every clue leads to the right answer, with no guesswork and no noise.
Our approach
Hand-checked answers
Every answer we publish is verified by native English speakers who play CodyCross themselves. No machine translation, no blind scraping, no “close enough.” If an answer isn't confirmed, we don't publish it.
Daily updates
The Puzzle of the Day and the Password of the Day are published every morning. New packs are added as soon as they ship in the app. Corrections reported by players are handled within hours.
No signup, no tracking
We don't ask you to create an account. We don't track your individual clicks. We don't sell any data to third-party ad networks. The only analytics we use is anonymous and aggregate, as described in our privacy policy.
Optimized for mobile
We know you're probably checking answers on your phone, mid-game. The interface is built for that: fast loads, clean navigation, big buttons, comfortable reading, and no pop-ups that waste your time.
The editorial team
The site is run by Camille Lefevre, editor-in-chief, a linguist by training and a lifelong word-puzzle fan. Camille joined the project in 2022 after ten years as an editor at several major word-game publishers.
She coordinates a team of four native-English reviewers who play CodyCross daily and check every answer before it's published. The shared goal: every solution should match the official English version of the game exactly, with no approximation.
How it's built
CodyCrossAnswers.com is a static site served via Cloudflare, with no exposed database and no heavy back-office. This architecture gives us three things: fast loads, resilience to traffic spikes, and the ability to deploy a fix within minutes of a player report.
The search bar at the top of the page uses our public collection API, which queries the indexed clue database directly on the server. Results typically come back in under 100 milliseconds.
What we are not
CodyCross® is a registered trademark of Fanatee, the official publisher of the game. CodyCrossAnswers.com is an independent reference site and is neither affiliated with Fanatee nor endorsed by it. We don't develop the game, we can't change its puzzles, and we have no official channel with the publisher.
